Hi' I just wanted to let you know your information on the "bloomer" costume is a bit wrong. Elizabeth Smith Miller of Peterboro, NY developed the costume in 1851 and not because of bicycles. they came much later (1900)if you would like more info please visit www.thetailorofpeterboro.com/bloomers thanks |

This is first time on your site and love it. Going to try to find your tv show to watch. I am primarily interested in finding ordering sites for t-shirt knit or anyother kind of knit fabrics to order. If you could provide any info, I would appreciate it. I especially liked seeing the Christain fish symbol on your site. God bless you as you help people to sew and your witnessing along with it. I will keep you and your staff in my prayers. polsson64@yahoo.com

DEAR SALLY, THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A VERY 'OFFTHEWALL' QUERY ON MY PART....BUT, LET ME PREFACE MY QUESTION WITH A LITTLE EXPLANATION. I AM AN AVID SEWER AND WAS LOOKING TO ORDER AN ADAPTER FOR MY SEWING WIZARD ELASTIC ATTACHER WHEN I FOUND YOUR NAME. I AM ALSO AN AVID GENEOLOGIST AND MY GRANDMOTHER WAS A COWAN; THEREFORE, I AM VERY INTRIGUED THAT YOU SHARE THE NAME. I WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE IF THERE IS A CONNECTION TO YOU ON MY FAMILY TREE. I AM ALWAYS SEARCHING. THANKS. SCISSORWIELDER@HOTMAIL.COM

I have enjoyed browsing your website and our family website as well. You are married to my cousin. His mother, Doris is my Dad's (John who lives in FL) sister. I am a long-time sewer and enjoy making quilts now. I live in TX with my husband Don and one very spoiled chocolate lab.

I have visited your sight several times and have always been interested since our names are the same. I now live in Balaklava South Australia but was born in Midland Michigan. I enjoy sewing for myself and my new grand daughter Lily. I teach mathematics, english and home economics at Balaklava High School. I am always looking for new projects to inspire students to sew their own clothes, make their own scarfs and re-make garments from the wardrobe.
